Our company was established in 1995; and since 1996, we have been pleased and honored to serve as an Authorized Business Partner for Environmental Systems Research, Inc. (ESRI), the global leader in geographic information systems software development.
Connie Simmons is the owner and principal of MapConcepts, Inc., an Authorized Business Partner for ESRI GIS software and training.
Ms. Simmons holds both the Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Administration degrees from The Ohio State University.
She has over 25 years of experience working in strategic planning and consulting to businesses and government at the federal, state, and local levels.
Appreciating that many organizations which could benefit enormously from the power of this technology have been reluctant to implement it because GIS is only just now finding its way into university curriculums across a broad base of disciplines, MapConcepts, Inc. is dedicated to bridging this gap and helping professionals who graduated before the GIS explosion understand the increasingly diverse components of this software and how to implement them to best advantage.
